Summer Wine Tasting: An Evening in Provence
Transport yourself to the sun soaked vineyards of Provence for an unforgettable evening of discovery and indulgence. Set within the elegant surroundings of our stunning Georgian house, this guided wine tasting experience invites you to taste a curated selection of exceptional French wines.
Led by your expert host, you’ll journey through the fruits of the french countryside, sampling wines from different vinyards with a summer-inspired wine palette, uncovering the unique characteristics, aromas, and stories behind each pour. From crisp, refreshing whites to delicate rosés, each glass is chosen to capture the essence of the season.
Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable evening out, this immersive experience promises to awaken your senses and introduce you to new favourites.
Join us for an evening where atmosphere, flavour, and discovery come together -unlocking a whole new taste of Provence.
Start the evening with a glass of bubbly on arrival from 7:00pm. Take a moment to settle in before the tasting begins at 7:30pm. Welcome drinks will be served on the back patio to make the most of the summer evening before you head inside the main house to commence the tasting.
Ellie Coleridge from Silverhand Estate-England’s largest vineyard, will guide guests through a handpicked selection of her favourite French wines, known for their vibrant character, with some iconic bottles from Provence to set the tone for summer sipping. Expect a mystery bottle or two, plus challenges to keep you entertained throughout the evening. Your tasting will also include a few classic nibbles to keep you going throughout the evening.
Bring your favourite people, come thirsty, and get ready to unwined on a balmy Friday evening filled with great wine and good company.

Extend your evening and make the most of your visit with an overnight stay in one of our charming House Bedrooms. Simply choose the Wine Tasting & Overnight Stay for Two Ticket option, which includes a continental breakfast.
Staying the night is the perfect way to transform your evening and experience all that Norwood has to offer. Each of our bedrooms are unique in their character and some have slightly quirky configurations follow the link below for more information. If you’ve stayed with us before and have a favourite room in mind, please contact the office directly on events@norwoodpark.co.uk or 01636 302099. Bedrooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Overnight Guest
For guests staying overnight, room check in will be available from 3pm. Breakfast from 8:30-9:30am and check out will be at 10am.
Cottage Stay
If the House Bedrooms are fully booked, don’t worry, we also offer a selection of cosy self catered cottages on the Estate, just a short stroll from the main house. An ideal option to transform your evening into a full-on countryside escape.
