Festive Wine Tasting Evening at Norwood Park
As the darker evenings draw in and cosy season continues, join us at Norwood Park for an indulgent winter wine tasting experience. Set within the warmth and elegance of our historic estate, this special evening celebrates the rich, comforting flavours of the season.
Discover a carefully curated selection of characterful winter wines, each chosen for their depth, complexity, and luxurious seasonal character. Guided by our wine expert, you’ll explore the stories behind each bottle, learn tasting techniques, and uncover perfect food pairings to enjoy throughout the festive season.
Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable winter evening with friends, this relaxed and welcoming event promises an enjoyable journey through some of the season’s most captivating wines.
Settle in, raise a glass, and savour an evening of warmth, flavour, and discovery at Norwood Park.
Start the evening with a glass of fizz on arrival from 7:00pm. Take a moment to settle in before heading into the cosy drawing room where the tasting will begin at 7:30pm.
Ellie Coleridge from Silverhand Estate-England’s largest vineyard, will guide guests through a handpicked selection of her favourite winter wines, known for their vibrant character, with some classic bottles to set the tone for winter indulging. Expect a mystery bottle or two, plus challenges to keep you entertained throughout the evening. Your tasting will also include a few classic nibbles to keep you going throughout the evening.
Bring your favourite people, come thirsty, and get ready to unwined on a festive Friday evening filled with great wine and good company.
Add an Overnight Stay to your Wine Tasting Experience…
Extend your evening and make the most of your visit with an overnight stay in one of our charming House Bedrooms. Simply choose the Wine Tasting & Overnight Stay for Two Ticket option, which includes a continental breakfast.
Staying the night is the perfect way to transform your evening and experience all that Norwood has to offer. Each of our bedrooms are unique in their character and some have slightly quirky configurations follow the link below for more information. If you’ve stayed with us before and have a favourite room in mind, please contact the office directly on events@norwoodpark.co.uk or 01636 302099. Bedrooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Overnight Guest
For guests staying overnight, room check in will be available from 3pm. Breakfast from 8:30-9:30am and check out will be at 10am.
Cottage Stay
If the House Bedrooms are fully booked, don’t worry, we also offer a selection of cosy self catered cottages on the Estate, just a short stroll from the main house. An ideal option to transform your evening into a full-on countryside escape.
