Norwood Park is licensed to hold both Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships. We’re lucky enough to have three unique ceremony spaces for you to choose from. So you can pick the space that best suits your personalities and tailor the setting for your wedding vows for the perfect ‘I Do’.
With multiple ceremony space options, you will be spoilt for choice. Whether you’ve been dreaming of an indoor wedding in a timeless historic setting or a spectacular outdoor wedding amongst beautiful natural surroundings.
With glorious views across the formal lawns and cricket pitch, the Drawing Room is our most historic ceremony space and is situated in the Georgian Country House. Grand mirrors and vast oil paintings in decoratively gilded frames adorn the walls while luxury fabrics add softness and warmth.
The flexible design of this room provides stunning views from every angle. Choose a lake-facing ceremony and say your wedding vows over views of the tranquil waters or opt for a bay-facing ceremony to take advantage of the light flooding through.
The Long Gallery, located in our Clock Tower, is a timeless Palladian Hall painted entirely in white with oak flooring, enormous sash windows, panelled ceiling, oversized arched mirrors, and a sequence of enormous gold chandeliers. The Gallery follows the traditional Georgian rules of perfect proportions and symmetry, a nod to the Georgian ‘age of elegance’ of its original construction.
As our largest ceremony space, the Gallery is the perfect choice for larger indoor celebrations.
If you’re searching for the perfect outdoor wedding venue, then we might be able to help. Our Starkey Bandstand is the perfect spot to share your wedding vows on a summer’s day. With bright blue skies above, our Georgian country house as the backdrop and surrounded by nature, we couldn’t think of a better spot for a quintessentially British Wedding.
With beautiful balustrades of swirls, slender columns, and a roof in a classic carousel shape, the Bandstand is a deeply romantic space to hold your ceremony.
